Where Do We Quarry?
Here at A P Delaney we currently operate three quarries in close proximity to Albury where we mine, crush and blend raw materials to produce crushed rock for base and sub-base pavement materials, sand, gravels, aggregate and topsoils. Our three quarries in operation include:
Koowong
Located on the Riverina Highway, 5km east of Albury, this modern and computerised plant uses a Jacques 25 gyrotary crusher to process naturally occurring river gravels to produce Vicroads Class 2 road pavement at a rate of 200 tonnes per hour.
Rockwood
Rockwood is a granite quarry in Tabletop, 15km north of Albury. Here granite is crushed to produce oversize beaching rock, road base and decomposed granite hill gravel for sub-base and structural fill use. Concrete recycling is also carried out at this quarry to produce road base material.
Bankview
Bankview is located 18km west of Albury on the Riverina Highway and is another source of river gravels and sands for use in the production of road base and concrete.
